Do you know what a 710 is ?

A f ew days ago I was having some work done at my local garage. A blonde came in and asked for a seven-hundred-ten.
We all looked at each other and another customer asked, 'What is a seven-hundred-ten?'
She replied, 'You know, the little piece in the middle of the engine, I have lost it and need a new one..' She went on to say that she did not know exactly what it was, but this piece had always been there.
The mechanic gave her a piece of paper and a pen and asked her to draw what the piece looked like. She drew a circle and in the middle of it wrote 710. He then took her over to another car which had its hood up and asked 'Is there a 710 on this car?'
She pointed and said, 'Of course, its right there.'

oooo.... thats a riot.....

I gots to add my personal story to this one....

ok, one day my g/f was at home, and her truck was low on oil... some how she knew how to read the dipstick.... but thats where her knowledge stops... her parents are both mechanics, so she goes and complains to them... to see if they would add a quart of oil for her.... she one of them lazy ones that rather complain about it 10 times longer then what it would of took her to start with, but maybe not in this case....
ok anyways.... they tell her to grab a quart of oil off the shelf and take the funnel and go add it.... finally she does this... after about 10 mins she is tired of waiting for the quart of oil to be empty so she goes back in the garage and sits down.... her parents ask her was 1 quart enough.... she replies I dont know its still pouring in.... her mom at this point is puzzled, and decides that she better go check this out.... well to my g/f's mom surprise there was indeed a funnel full of oil and it was slowly draining down.... ( as we all know how long this should of actually of taken )
well come to find out, the g/f had stuck the funnel in the dipstick tube and began pouring the oil into it....

I guess I can add another story that just happened last week....

my brother needed some help... his wifes car was running like shit... so I go over there to take a look at it and see if I can help him out....

we have the hood of the car up.... we have the problem all taken care of... I had just got down cleaning up the battery cables.... and his wife comes out the door to smoke a cigarette.... she looks down at the motor.... looks a bit closer between the motor and the radiator.... and notices this white round shaped object..... she begins to complain that she must of ran over a bottle of some sort, and that it got stuck up under there....

being a smart ass... I reach down and grab it... and go hmmm... its really stuck on there... I tell her motor must of got hot and melted this bottle to the motor.... she goes o shit.... and starts to complain about how much money its going to cost her to have it removed.... well that wasnt good enough for her, so she reaches down there to see if she can remove it... which you can not just pull it off... and she fails... so then she looks closer and reads it... it says Havoline oil filter on it plus the item number.... she still has no ideal how she got an oil filter stuck onto her motor....

ok, this the part I liked the best.... so she calls her mom up, and tells her all about it... comes out and reads the info off it again to her mom.... her mom says ok, I'll call the garage and get an appointment for them to remove it.... and hangs up the phone....

well this is where my brother steps in says she's stupid and ask's her if she knows what an oil filter is... and stunned... she knew exactly what it was for and what it did.... but it took about 3 more mins of explaining it before she realized that was where it was located on that car....
